Our spacious apartment is located 10 minutes from the city center and is well served by public transport. It is part of the new car-free eco-settlement "Greencity" with approx. 4000 residents and good infrastructure. A restaurant with an organic food store, a bakery with a pizzeria and a supermarket are just around the corner. Children have plenty of safe play space on the central square and in the forest playground. The train station is located in the middle of the neighborhood and can be reached in 2 minutes. Despite the urban surroundings, nature is also on the doorstep; the Allmend, the Uetliberg and the Sihl Valley invite you to take short and longer excursions. Zurich has a rich cultural offering for every taste. In summer, there are also numerous opportunities to swim in the lake, the river or in one of the well-maintained outdoor pools. The nearest bathing area can be reached by bus from the front door in 15 minutes.
The 4.5-room apartment is on the 3rd floor with a view of the canal and the inner courtyard. It consists of a very large living/dining area with kitchen and balcony and three further rooms: Master bedroom, guest or children's bedroom with a double bed and an office, which can serve as a sleeping area for two more people with two mattresses if required. There is a washing machine in the apartment and large drying rooms for shared use in the basement. Our landline can be used for telephones in Switzerland - and abroad by arrangement. We don't have a TV, but a beamer for cozy movie nights. Two city bikes and two folding bikes are available in the bike room.
