Cozy townhouse on the Swedish West Coast

A cozy townhouse with modern interior and 8 (!) different floor levels. The house is located within walking/biking distance from Halmstad City Center and the West Beach.

Halmstad is Sweden's no.1 summer town with several sandy beaches nearby, the most famous being Tylösand beach resort. The free public pool "Brottet" is 5 minutes down the road from the house.

Halmstad is also a perfect starting point if you want to explore the Swedish West Coast: 1,5 hours from Gothenburg and 1,5 hours from Malmö/Copenhagen. Also, drive 10 minutes inland and you are in the woods of "Sweden's first wilderness."

Aeropuerto más cercano: Copenhagen - 2 hours (direct train from under the airport to Halmstad every hour)

Rotorp is a quiet area about 2 km from Halmstad City Center (15 minutes by foot, 5 minutes by car/bike). The house is next to a beautiful cemetary/park and about 5-minute walk to the nearest beach. The famous beaches of Tylösand with all its summer entertainment is about 15 minutes away.

We're a typical Swedish family of four. Thomas is a Communications Manager for an international technology company in Halmstad, plays the bass and is addicted to running. Maria is a consultant within urban planning, does yoga and loves gardening. Rebecka (19) is currently spending a year in the U.S. and won't be joining the exchange. Elias (17) studies technology in high school and loves badminton.

Estilo de vida

With kids just about to leave home, we find ourselves with more time on our hands. We've been doing house exchanges for many years and really like the concept. Love exploring new neigborhoods, especially off the beaten track and look forward to a new exchange this summer.
