Comfortable home with a garden and greenhouse. Nice neighbourhood and close to nature. Our home is about 10 km from the Airport and town centre, and it is easy acsess by bus. We offer a home with a livingroom, kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom on the main floor. And additional bathroom, laundry room and two bedrooms downstairs.

About the neighborhood
We live in a nice suburb. Close to the forest with walking and biking trails. 5minutes walk to supermarket and bus-stop to the city center. We also have indoor climbing hall in 5 minutes walking distance.
Bodø is a coastal town with museums, concert hall, artexibitions and a lot of nice restaurants. The surroundings are beautiful! A lot of mountains to climb and unspoiled beaches with clean (and cold ) water.
Saltstraumen, worlds strengest maelstrom is 30 minutes from home by car.
Midnight sun in summer and darkness in winter. If you are lucky you can experience the northern lights during winter (Aurora borealis). It is easy to travel to Lofoten, by ferry, exspress boat or plane.

Vi är supernöjda med vårt besök i Bodö. Björg och Morten var väldigt omtänksamma och huset över förväntan med trevliga grannar och superfin trädgård.
Lovely place and People’s
We had a very good time in Bodø. The house was clean and lovely and we felt very much at home there. The contact with Bjørg was nice and uncomplicated and she even got us tickets for a concert on the Norwegian national holiday - a wonderful memory . The surrounding nature is overwhelming with reindeer and elks running around loose which we were lucky enough to see. Therefore, we enjoyed our exchange in Bodø a lot and can only recommend a stay in Bjørg‘s house.
Veldig hyggelig bolig, med en liten hage. Lettvint med kollektivtrafikk.

We are Morten (67) and Bjørg (66) . We have three daughters, who live in different parts of Norway with their partners. They usually visit us in Bodø during their holidays, and will probably travel with us occasionally. We hope to visit a Skandinavian country with the whole family for a week or two in 2025. We will then be 8 adults, one 2 year old grandson and a baby.
We have been members of Intervac many years when the children were younger, but when they started having summer jobs the possibilities for exchanging became more difficult.
Morten and I have decided to give it a go again!
We enjoy travelling, culture, music, gardening, swimming and nature. We prefer easy access to public transport, and walking distance to buy food is perfect.
