Family villa near Trondheim, mountains, rivers and the coast.
Welcome to our mountainside 3 story spacious villa close to the beautiful city center of Trondheim. In just 20 min. by car, you find yourself in the center of the town.
We can easily accommodate up to 8 people:
- two bedrooms with double beds
- one bedroom with one single bed in addition to a double sofa bed
- one bedroom with a single bed.
Ground floor: bathroom/laundry room, toilet, hallway
First floor: master bedroom, bathroom, guest bedroom, kitchen, terreace, dining room and living room
Second floor: two bedrooms
Our house sits in a quiet street where you can find peace on the terrace and safely let the children play outside. We set up a trampoline for the summer months.
How to get to our house:
We can leave our car at the airport, or you can get on a train at the airport. The train stops at Melhus station which is only 5 min by car from our house. The train ride takes about 1 hour. Very convenient!
In a simultaneous exchange, we can also exchange cars.
We drive an electric car (Tesla Model Y)

Familia molt agradable i sevicial , amb una comunicació constant
Being welcomed to Norway by this lovely family was a great blessing. We found them to be very friendly, warm, communicative and responsive whenever necessary during our stay... and very funny too ! Their house and its surroundings are a haven of peace : a beautiful, spacious and very comfortable living space, so bright and tastefully decorated. Watching the midnight sun from their terrace was a magical change of scenery ! They also gave us useful advice, and the intelligent relationship of respect and trust that we could have was much appreciated, from start to finish. We wish them many more exchanges, for they deserve it. Pouvoir être accueillis en Norvège par cette adorable famille a été une grande chance. Nous avons eu à faire à des gens très sympathiques, chaleureux, à l'écoute dans la communication et réactifs dès que nécessaire pendant le séjour... et en plus très drôles ! Leur maison et son environnement sont un havre de paix : un bel espace de vie spacieux et très confortable, si lumineux et mis en valeur avec goût. Observer le soleil de minuit depuis leur terrasse était très dépaysant et magique ! Ils nous ont par ailleurs donné de précieux conseils et l'intelligence de la relation de respect et de confiance qui s'est instaurée entre nous a été très appréciable, du début à la fin. Nous leur souhaitons beaucoup d'autres échanges car ils le méritent.
We couldn't have asked for a better family for our first home exchange. They were not only kind, supportive, and patient with us as beginners but also incredibly trustworthy, solution-oriented, and friendly. The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable, and we wholeheartedly recommend a home exchange with this wonderful family.

Meet our little family:
Jørgen (40) wears many hats as a dedicated music and English teacher at a primary school. He's also a municipal council representative.
Solveig (43) works as an HR advisor at the student welfare organization in Trondheim.
We have two active daughters who bring life and joy to our family with their various interests and activities.
Synnøve, 13, enjoys playing football, practicing the French horn and piano, and expressing herself through dance at the local studio. Additionally, she plays with the local marching band.
Ane, 10, enjoys playing the flute, dancing, and playing with the local marching band. Alongside these activities, she's involved in the drama club, exploring her love for theater.
