Countryside house in South East France, 30 min from Lyon and the Alp Mountains
Hello,
Our home is a bright, recently-built house with a nice garden. You will enjoy relaxing on the terrace under the cherry trees or refreshing in the little pool. Our 4 chickens will provide eggs during your stay.
You can borrow our bikes (3 adults, 1 children) to discover the hilly surrroudings.
Depending on the destination of exchange, car exchange may be possible.
In the surrounding area, our favourite spots are :
- the lakes : Rosière, Aiguebelette, Paladru, Le Bourget with their numerous activities : swimming, canoe, fishing or just walking...
- moutain peaks in the Chartreuse Park (up to 2000 m high)
- the city of Lyon (Unesco World Heritage Site) : Gallo-Roman theatres and aqueducts, Old Lyon and its traboules, gastronomy, silk industry...

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre échange avec Iris et Matthi. Sans nous connaitre au préalable, nous avons passé une excellente soirée ensemble au moment de l'échange des clés. Cela nous a permis de nous passer les consignes et de faire connaissance. La communication avec eux a était très facile, tout au long du séjour. Une fois sur place, nous avons vraiment apprécié l'espace de leur maison sur 3 niveaux, le très bon niveau d'équipement et les petits conseils de visites. A partir de Vught, nous avons alterné des ballades de proximité très sympas (à pied ou à vélo) et des visites plus lointaines (mais la plupart des sites ou villes sont à 1h/1h30 max). Une famille que nous recommandons !
What a lovely family and a lovely house. We really enjoyed this home exchange! We felt very welcome and a great location between the city Lyon (which is quite interesting to visit) and the Alpes. Everything you need for a good holiday. The house was also very pleasant with a beautiful garden and view. Absolutly worth to do an exchange with.

Coming from large families, we're used to hosting guests and having people in our home.
We also experimented home exchange when we were kids (memories for life!) and it encouraged us to get started !
It's important for us to help our children discover different ways of living, to show them that we can trust one another, that we can keep our hearts open....!
Unfortunately we do not exchange with families with cats, because of allergies.We are a family of 4 : Marie, François and our sons, Bastien and Antoine. We have exchanded our house in 2021 for the 1st time with a french family in Normandy.
