Queen Anne Cottage on the edge of Barham, near Canterbury, Great Britain

Situated in the Elham Valley,in the North Downs Area of Outstanding Beauty, Court Cottage is on the edge of the village of Barham. Our home is a Queen Anne style house built in the 1740's with original beams, inglenook fireplace, low ceilngs and doorways, set in an acre of garden and woodland.
We are offering the ground floor area of our home which consists of one double bedroom with ensuite shower, kitchen, dining room, garden room and sitting room.
The house is a few minutes walk from the church, pub, and a well stocked shop.
There is an hourly bus service to historic Canterbury (15 mins) with its Cathedral, modern shops and tourist attractions. From Canterbury there are frequent bus, coach and train connections to London and the Coast. There are many easy walks between the villages and along the coastal paths, There are frequent ferry services and the Channel Tunnel which connect to France and the Continent.

The County of Kent has many attractive country houses, beautiful gardens and historic castles.
