Our home in Kildare has all the modern conveniences such as WiFi, central heating etc. It has a beautiful, planted garden which is a feature all of our home exchangers remark upon.
The Cottage in Co. Kerry has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen/dining room and a sun-room (sitting room). One of the couches in the sun-room folds out as a double bed, if required.
The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, electric cooker, microwave cooker, air-fryer, dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer.
Fresh linens and towels are kept at the cottage.

About the neighborhood
Our Kildare home is located in a select, private neighbourhood on the outskirts of the town, within walking distance of all the amenities such as Churches, banks, restaurants, cafés, post office, library, Tourist Office , Kildare Village Premium Outlet Centre, etc.
We have an excellent train service in the town, which connects you to every railway station destination in Ireland. Additionally, there is an excellent half-hourly bus service to Dublin City centre for €7 one way, which frees you up from the hassle of city traffic & is an alternative option if you are tired from driving. There is also an excellent bus service from Kildare to Limerick, Tralee, Killarney, Cork and everywhere else on the island.
The cottage in Co. Kerry is located in the Sliabh Mish mountains, & is a haven of tranquility. We are 8 minutes drive from Inch beach and 20 minutes from both Killarney & Tralee towns. We are a 30 minute drive to Dingle town. There is public transportation to both Killarney & Tralee, and a good bus service along the Dingle Peninsula but it is a part of the world that is best enjoyed via car .
