About 2-3 weeks, date is flexible and hopefully its possible in Covid19 time in 2022 |
Lelystad 40 min from Amsterdam, cosy house and area.
We are looking for an exchange in a warm sunny country nearby the sea or in the mountains. For summer 2021 we would like to exchange for about 2,5 weeks somewhere in France or Poland, when ofcourse it's possible with the Covid19 Coronavirus.
We are 4 adults, two parents and a a son of 22 and a daughter of 19 years old. As they grow older, we are not exactly sure if they will join us at a house-swap in 2022, maybe we will come with only the two of us. Our kids do house-exchange since they were born and are respectful to your belongings. We ask you to take care of our two cats, and three chicken (which give you fresh eggs!) in the garden. Its really easy, just give them food and water once a day, that's all you have to do, very simple. The chicken live outside in the garden in a big cage, they can go inside and outside (own cage) when they want, you really don't have to do much. The cats are also often outside.
Some information about Lelystad and the environment.
Lelystad has many many interesting and beautiful things for tourists to visit .Its in the centre of the Netherlands and a paradise for those who likes the sea, lakes, water-sports( sailing, surfing, boating, diving, beach, swimming, yachts, harbours) and woods/forests. Of course many eating-possibilities from here but also from foreign countries. The capital of Amsterdam is only about 45 km from here, you reach it between 30-45 min.
The train-station is only a few hundred meters away so you can always go by train. You seldom hear them. When you will visit Amsterdam I can advise you to take the train (only 40 minutes). We have a cinema/theatre called 'Agora', a disco called Mystic Paradise, swimming-pool called de 'Koploper'. For the children from 0 to 12 years we have a play-paradise called 'Ballorig', which is in a hall so when the weather isn't nice you can always play there in the ball-boxes, slides, jumping-trampolines, car-toys and so on. We also have flash-golf, play glow in the dark-golf. It also have the possibility of playing paint-ball and eating in the restaurant with bowling. Our kids really loved it and its situated next to the swimming-pool and bowling and laser-game. At the bowling you can also eat pancakes and more and play billiards in the restaurant.
At Saturdays we have from 9-16 hours a market at the 'Agorahof', and at Tuesdays from 09-13 hrs we have markets at the ' Lelycentre'. At 'Bataviastad' at the harbour there is every Saturday and Sunday from 12-6 hours a small creative, biological market, just outside the shopping-centre. There also is the 'Newland erfgoedmuseum', to see the history of this part of the Netherlands and kids can play with sand and water.
