House in Bodø City Centre - perfect for exploring North Norwegian Nature
Our residence is a charming family home situated in a peaceful neighborhood, conveniently located within walking distance to the downtown area. Acquired in 2016, we've extensively renovated it to enhance its comfort and functionality. The property unfolds over three levels. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms: one furnished with a single bed and the other with a bunk bed, alongside a TV room equipped with an Apple TV and a PlayStation. The main floor hosts a spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom featuring a double bed. The attic is designed with two additional bedrooms, including a child's room and a master bedroom, each with a double bed.
In the basement, we find an extra toilet, laundry room, shower, and sauna. This level also accommodates sports storage rooms with equipment for golf, stand-up paddleboarding, tents, and more, ready to enhance your recreational pursuits.
Additionally, the house boasts a lovely garden and a balcony on the first floor, complete with barbecue and outdoor furniture, providing a perfect setting to relish a cup of coffee or outdoor dining.

We live in a nice and quiet living area. The house is very centrally located within walking distance to Bodø city center with shops, libraries, cafes, restaurants and tourist information. Grocery store is located about 300 meters from the house.
Bodø is the second largest city in North Norway, but still a very small one with only 50.000 inhabitants. From Bodø you can take the ferry or plane to the Lofoten Islands, and you can of course explore the fantastic soundings with mountains, Saltstraumen (one of the strongest tidal currents in the world).
A bit longer trip, but it is also possible to visit the glacier Svartisen in Meløy.

FR030607Un très bel endroit qui était tout à fait adapté pour l'accueil de nos petits enfants. Tout le monde y a trouvé son compte , c'était vraiment un bel échange. Nous avons pu visiter Legoland ce qui a ravi nos petits enfants. La communication avec André et Karen était excellente, nous avons suivi leurs conseils. Nous étions en lien pendant le temps d'échanges. Nous sommes prêts à revenir chez eux !
