House in Mezowo, Gdansk, Kashubia, Poland
Our house is situated in Kaszuby, a folk region in Poland, near Gdansk, famuos for its lakes, rivers and forests (nature park). It offers the opportunity for swimming, cycling, hiking, sightseeing and kayaking. We have 4 bikes and 3 kayaks. There is a nice garden around house in Mezowo. We also have table tennis and multimedia projector (home cinema) inisde the house when the weather is worse.
Mezowo is well-connected by car or by rail with Gdansk (about 25-30 km) and, esspecially, with its Lech Walesa Airport (Gdansk Rebiechowo, about 20 km). Gdansk is a thousand years old city with a widely-known old town, situated by the Baltic sea. Gdańsk is a city of birth of Polish Solidarity and Lech Walesa. There are many museums and exhibitions related to this. Gdansk is a part of the bigger agglomeration consisting of Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia (Tricity). Mycket fint hus som överträffade förväntningarna.
Charming, characterful house in a great setting with a lovely garden and close to the lake. The hosts were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Świetne miejsce do eksploracji Kaszub oraz doskonały punkt wypadowy do Trójmiasta. Cisza, spokój, wsi spokojna, wsi wesoła. Do jeziora jakieś 100 m. Godzinka potrzebna jest aby obejść jeziorko wokół spokojnym krokiem. Sam dom bardzo funkcjonalny, zaprojektowany z bardzo ciekawą amfiladą. Zegary bijące co pół godziny tworzą niesamowity klimat! Gospodarz to sportowiec a więc pełno sprzętu do uprawiania wszelakich aktywności. Nie ma się do czego przyczepić, polecam serdecznie i pozdrawiam!!!
