We live in a pretty terraced house in a late Georgian square in central London. The square is quiet with no through traffic but, once you turn the corner onto the main road, you find yourself in the middle of bustling London.

The house has fantastic tube and bus links and is walking distance from a number of key tourist sights. Lambeth North (Bakerloo line) and Elephant and Castle (Northern line) tube stations are 5 minutes walk away. The bus stop for buses to Piccadilly Circus and beyond is round the corner. Destinations such as Regent Street, the British Museum, the V&A, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Spitalfields and Shoreditch can be reached by tube or bus in half an hour. The Houses of Parliament, the Southbank arts complex, Covent Garden, the London Eye, Borough Market, Tate Modern and Tate Britain are all walkable from the house. We are 20 minutes walk, or a short bus ride, from Waterloo station for trains out to Kew, Greenwich, Windsor etc. There are two local parks, with playgrounds, nearby and St James's park is just over the river. Our area has lots of nice pubs that also do good food, plus a few other decent cafes and restaurants. There are supermarkets within walking distance. 

Our house is bright, neat and compact. It has a kitchen/dining room; sitting room with sofa, chairs and television; a bathroom with bath and shower; three bedrooms; and a small patio garden. Of the three bedrooms, there is a main bedroom with a double bed, a children's room with a small double bed and a downstairs bedroom with a double bed and small en suite shower room.

We are a family of four (2 parents and 2 teenagers). We are a considerate family and would treat your home with respect.
