Holiday home in SCHIMATARI, Greece

Our house is 80 m2 and has 2 bedrooms (one with double bed and one with two beds), 1 toilette, cousine and a living room with a coach that someone could sleep on.
The main photo is what we see from our balcony.
We have two sons, they live in their own and a daughter who is studying in the university of Athens ,so we travel only two persons ,me and my wife.Our summer house is very convenient, by the sea side with blue flag prize.There is a nice terrace where we see the sea 50 m near the house,there is also a small garden.In walking distance there are nice taverns, super markets and every wednesday there is an open market.
Our home is ideal for swimming, walking,but also an excellent base to explore central Greece, Athens, ancient Delpfi, Marathon with the fantastic sandy beach of Schinias natural park. Within 1-2 hours drive you can visit the ancient theater of Epidaurus and Nauplio (www.nafplio.gr).
The small city of Schimatary where i am mayor since 17 years is 8 km from the sea.There are all facilities ,banks, a small hospital and a very interesting small classical museum ,free to visit ,2 byzantin churches and the town square with the cathedral.Within 10 min drive you can visit the beautiful coastal city of Chalkis in Evia island.
Evia island has wild beauty and fantastic beaches. Within one hour from Dilesi you can swim in Agean sea at the eastern coasts of Evia.
Many beautiful islands can be visited within 2-3 hours from Schimatari,as Kea(www.kea.gr) ,Kythnos (www.kythnos.gr) from the port of Lavrio ,Adros and Tinos ftom the port of Rafina and Aegina,Poros, Hydra and Spetses ftom the port of Pireas.
With our municipality we had twinnings to Italy and Irland but also we like the spirit of INTERVAC to make new friends .For some days non simultaneuos exchange would be desirable!
We are pleased to transfer from the airport!
We are very responsible and we take care of your home and maybe your pets!
My wife Stella has a labaratory where produces home made soap, using several herbs and etheral oils and she is looking for colaborations (www.laurusnobilis.gr )
