A family house in Reykjavík.
A two floor house; lower ground has spacious living room and dining room, large well equiped kitchen, small bathroom and laundry-room (2 washing machines, dryer and a shower). From the dining room you can enter rather big backyard with sofas, grill and a trampoline (during summer time). Upper floor has 3 bedrooms: 1 with a double bed and small balcony, one with a queen-size bed (145 cm wide, fits 2 persons) and a sleeping sofa of the same size. Third room has a 120 cm wide bed (can fit 2 kids/teens), and is covered with 90's rock posters (Queen, Nirvana...). Upper floor also contains a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub.
The house is located in a quiet family street, in a really nice neighborhood.

Nuestro vecindario
The house is located in a family friendly area very centrical in Reykjavík. We are only 5 km from the down town centrum and it's easy to get there by bus or a scooter. We have grocery stores in walking distances and 1-2 km walk away we have Fjölskyldu- og húsdýragarðurinn, a family park and zoo (the Icelandic farm-animals). Also, we have Laugardalslaug (swimming pool) about 2,5 km walk away and we totally recommend going there in the evenings with the whole family.
Reykjavík is rather small city and easy to go around, especially if you have a car.

Texto de presentación de su familia
We are a family of five + son in law + a dog.
Trausti (44) has his own business in transport and Sólrún (42) is currently a university student in textiles. Our kids are 18, 16 and 13. They all go to school and are active in many areas (sports, music, social activities).
Our dog is a 3 years old Border Collie, nearly blind from birth, playful and wonderful. She lightens our worlds.
The house is built 1955. We bought it 12 years ago from the couple that built it, and have nearly finished renovating it all.
