Dunboyne, Irlanda

Our home is in the small town of Dunboyne 20 km from the centre of Dublin. Our home is extremely well equipped and is suitable for children and adults. Our garden has a patio covered with a retractable awning, tables to seat eight people and a gas Barbeque. We also have a large table with umbrella an the bottom of the garden where you can enjoy the sun for most of the day. The children's playhouse has a slide and many toys to keep young children entertained for hours. There is also a childrens playroom in the house. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite, there are two other bedrooms available, each sleeping two people.

Dunboyne has many amenities including several coffee shops, restaurants, two pubs and two gastro pubs. Shops include 3 pharmacies, bakery, butchers, flower shop, hairdressers, boutique and two supermarkets. There is a large children's playground and a park in the town centre. The local 4* hotel has a spa which is open to the public. The local athletics club has a running track. There is a regular train service which will bring into Dublin city centre in about half and hour. There is also an hourly bus service to Dublijn city centre. Close by is Blanchardstown Town Centre which is a very large shopping centre with many fashion stores, jewellery etc. There is also a large designer outlet called Kildare Village which is 45 minutes drive from our home.
Golfers will be spoilt for choice with some of the best golf coures in Ireland very close by. The Arnold Palmer designed K club is one of the most prestigeous glof courses having hosted the Ryder Cup is about 20 minutes drive and even closer is Carton house at 10 minutes drive which has hosted the Irish Open. The local .Fairyhouse racecourse is home to the Irish Grand National steeplechase.
We are located in Ireland's Ancient East with many monuments dating back to the stoneage. Heritage sites include The Hill of Tara, Newgrange, Nowth, Dowth and many more interesting sites. All there are in our local area. If you have time you can visit other parts of Ireland by accessing the nation motorway routes with a few miles of our home.
