A typical Queensland which used to be the Stationmasters house
Our house is located on a no through street with vacant land on both sides of the house. We have wonderful neighbours across the road and throughout the town. The house is circa 1910 timber "Queenslander" with the area underneath built in with more living space and a en-suite bedroom. The house faces north so gets lovely winter sun on the front verandah. There are covered verandahs on two sides allowing for outdoor eating and drinking.

Beerburrum is a small town with only a post office, hairdresser and cafe/garden shop in town. We are surrounded by forests and a lot of farms growing strawberries, pineapples, avocados, and macadamia nuts. The closest shops are 5klm away and major supermarkets 15klm away.

Love travelling, theatre, art galleries and new foods.
We have lived in Beerburrum for 5 years now and have slowly renovated the house. We enjoy the quiet country town and have wonderful neighbours in town. We are very conveniently located to the Sunshine Coast beaches and only an hour on the train to Brisbane. We have now graduated to e-bikes and enjoy riding around the Sunshine Coast and also around the river in Brisbane. Bikes travel free on the train so it's easy to get around. We have 2 adult children with our daughter living in Brisbane and our son in Sydney. Our daughter will sometimes join us on our travels to Asia. We had 3 months travelling around the UK and Europe in the summer of 2024 also visiting friends in Suffolk, Dorset, and Latvia. There is so much more we wanted to see in the UK therefore are looking for an exchange in 2027.
