Our home sits in Campiñas del Bosque, a quiet, green residential community on the outskirts of León, surrounded by trees and fresh air, countryside calm with city convenience. The neighborhood is gated and secure, with families, kids playing outside, and walking areas, yet you're only 20–25 minutes from León's city center, restaurants, and shopping.
The house is spacious and family-ready. It's the perfect base to explore the region: 30 minutes to UNESCO World Heritage Guanajuato, 1 hour to San Miguel de Allende, and 20 minutes to León's international airport. The climate, Spring like all year round sunny days, cool evenings, no heating or AC battles.

We live in Campiñas del Bosque, a green, gated residential community on the countryside edge of León. Think tree lined streets, birdsong in the morning, families walking their dogs, and kids riding bikes safely a genuinely peaceful environment with 24/7 security at the entrance.
Despite the countryside feel, you're not isolated: supermarkets, cafés, and everyday services are 10–15 minutes away by car, and León's city center with its restaurants, shopping, and cultural life is about 25 minutes. The location is ideal for exploring Mexico.
It's the kind of neighborhood where you wake up to fresh air and quiet.

Mexican family with two kids looking to spend a year in Cologne, we offer our home in Leon Gto, MX
We're a family of four who believe the best education is the world itself. Both of us are 40 I lead one of Mexico's pioneering renewable energy companies Brimex Energy (biogas & biomethane) and my wife works in a marketplace fashion plataform; we're raising our daughter (8) and son (4) to be curious, respectful, and global. That's exactly why we're moving to Cologne for a full year: our children will attend school there, our dates are firm, and this is a carefully planned family project, not an improvised adventure.
Our lifestyle is active but grounded. Weekdays revolve around work, school, and family dinners (we cook a lot and yes, real Mexican food). Weekends are for exploring: colonial towns, nature, markets. We're a tidy, non-smoking household, and sustainability isn't a slogan for us it's my life's work. We treat every home the way we'd want ours treated: with genuine care.
What matters most to us in an exchange is trust and communication. We'll be as transparent, responsive, and organized with you as we are in everything we do and we'll make sure you fall in love with our region as much as we plan to fall in love with yours.
