House in PROVENCE, France
We live in MANOSQUE, town of 25 000 inhabitants, in the Provence (south east of France) in the regional park of LUBERON, 80 km in the north of MARSEILLE.The town is at an altitude of 400 meters, surrounded by hills. The region offers a very sunny weather in summer and a lot of tourist areas : AIX EN PROVENCE, gorges du VERDON, MARSEILLE, AVIGNON, la CAMARGUE, COTE d'AZUR (French Riviera)…. You can also visit nice small Provencal villages very close to Manosque. The Mediterranean sea is quite far (80 km) so it's much less crowded than near the shore. But the weather is sunny as well and you can have bath in a little lake in Manosque, equipped for bathing leisure activities (7 km from our home). It's also possible to have bath in the lakes of ESPARRON (20 km) or SAINTE CROIX (60 km) in the VERDON gorges. They are tourist places and it can be an afternoon or day trip combining tourism and bathing.
Our home is situated on a hill near the medieval centre of Manosque. It is 150m2 large, with 3 bedrooms, a study and a mezzanine. It has two bathrooms one with shower and the other with a tub.
From our terrace and the top of the hill, we have a view on the city, the Durance valley and the Alps mountains.

IS11018Diminique and Pierre are very nice and intersting people. We met them and their son briefly when we arrived back home after our stay at their home. If anything, their home is well decribed, nice and roomy in beautiful part of Manosque. this exchange was just great. everything was perfect at our home when we came back.
