We live in a 19th century mansion that has been divided into 5 flats.
Our 85m² apartment has 3 bedrooms (one with a double bed, the others with a standard bed) and a living room with a couch where two adults can sleep.
Our flat is located on the ground floor and has direct access to our private garden where you can have dinner.
The shared garden is 3 000 m². It is equipped with a sandpit, a swing, and a vegetable garden.
We also have a private parking space at the back of the house.
We are only 7 minutes away by car from the "Cité Internationale" of Lyon where you find the museum of contemporary art, cinemas and restaurants. From there, you also have a direct access to the "Parc de la tête d’or", the biggest public parc in Lyon (zoo, children games, etc).
We live 15 minutes away by car from the very city center ("hotel de ville") where you have immediate access to the hill of "Croix Rousse", the museum of fine arts, shops, restaurants, etc.

La casa de nuestra familia de intercambio ha sido un lugar tranquilo y muy agradable para pasar el verano. El jardín es precioso y con espacios divertidos para que los niños jueguen, además de un huerto con productos ecológicos. Los vecinos han sido personas muy simpáticas y nos mostraron una estupenda acogida en las zonas comunes de la propiedad. La familia Penel-Sotirakis nos ha dejado un manual con la descripción de la vivienda, del funcionamiento de los electrodomésticos, del funcionamiento del coche, normas para la retirada de basuras, lugares de interés que visitar en la ciudad y un montón de consejos para pasar un estupendo verano en esta región del país. en general, ha sido una experiencia fantástica, que ha superado con creces nuestras expectativas.
The house was as expected and the family very kind. They left our house in excellent condition.
