Karlsruhe-Ettlingen: Close to Black Forest, Europapark, the French border
We are a family of five (52, 50, 20, 18, 13) living in a semi-detached house (200m²), behind the house we have a quiet garden.
You can reach the following tourist areas or sights in about 1h:
Black Forest, Europa Park (the best loved theme park in Germany), Heidelberg, Strasbourg (France), the UNESCO-world heritage sites Speyer (cathedral) and Maulbronn (monestary) .
But there are also many other possibilities to enjoy your holidays either in Ettlingen itself (strolling through the pretty pedestrian zone or through one of the beautiful parks) or around Ettlingen: going swimming in a lake or the indoor/outdoor swimming-pool, and endless opportunities to go cycling or hiking (Black Forest).
You´ll find multiple cycle tracks - also safe for young children.
