The house is on the hill in the small village of Raito with 800 inhabitants (in winter) it is reachable with about one hundred steps not suitable for people with walking problems.
The nearest airport is capodichino airport in Naples
From Naples Capodichino Airport to Salerno is possible to take the ALIBUS service (SITA) . From Salerno to Raito there is the bus (busitalia) n. 1 is too possible by railwais Napoli - Vietri sul Mare or Salerno

Raito is a small town of 800 inhabitants with most of the houses reachable through characteristic steps. In the village there are e little supermarchet and few other shops, a museum of ceramic and some restaurants nearby.
The location of our house is strategic to visit (1) Amalfi coast, (2) Cilento coast and (3) city of Naples.
The near main places of interest are:
1) Salerno, Vietri sul Mare, Amalfi, Ravello, Positano;
2) Paestum, Velia;
3) Pompeii, Ercolano, Oplonti, Sorrento and Naples.
The islands of Capri and Ischia can be reached by ferryboat from Salerno or Naples
The highway entrance is in Vietri sul Mare, 1.5km away.
The port of Salerno is 3km away
All places are not far no more 50Km
Our house can be reached via 80/100 steps from the main road

La famiglia di Francesco ci ha accolti con calore e gentilezza. La casa di Francesco è bellissima e in una posizione meravigliosa. Il panorama di Vietri e del mare dalle terrazze è stupendo!! La casa è molto confortevole, tranquilla e fuori dall'affollamento della Costiera, però è un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare la Costiera Amalfitana, Salerno, Napoli e la zona di Pompei, Ercolano e Pestum.
Við skiptum við tvær fjölskyldur og í báðum tilfellum var dvölin ánægjuleg sem og samskipti við fólkið. Báðar fjölskyldurnar voru mjög vingjarnlegar og hjálplegar. Okkur fannst lýsingar prýðilegar á heimasvæði, en það eina sem ekki gekk upp var að það var ekki WiFi tenging í íbúðinni á Ítalíu. Það var þó alveg óvart, viðkomandi hafði reynt sitt besta, en það virkaði ekki.
