House in Amsterdam, Netherlands
Our house is in IJburg, a recent addition to the city. It is a real Dutch experience, because it is located on reclaimed land, which used to be water until only a few years ago. It is an area with interesting architecture. All types of shops are available here as well. It has the best of both worlds, since we have the peace and quiet of the suburb and easy access to the busier areas in the city centre. We are just 15 minutes from the city centre by tram.We also have a cat, which is incredibly sweet and which we bought during COVID 19, appropriately called Covi. There are good connections to other places of interest in the area. You will find castles, windmills and the best city beach within a few miles from our house. We are a family of four with a great deal of experience in home exchanges (25 + exchanges). Our sons do not always travel with us. We will take very good care of your house. We have a cat, Covi, that was born in August 2020. It lives mostly outside.
