Appartment in the outskirts of Amsterdam
The flat is 95 m2, quiet, the balcony with potplants is facing SW.
It's on the 5th floor, there are 2 lifts.
There is a small park ('plantsoen') to look at.
I own a cat together with my neighbour Hans. Every fortnight we do the exchange. If you are allergic to cats then there might be a problem. Hans is also the one to go to if you have any questions or problems.
The livingroom is spacious, the furniture is colourful, Dutch design. There is a shower, a sink and a washingmachine in the bathroom. It was recently renovated.The kitchen is also new.The toilet is 'Japanese'.
There are 2 other rooms, one has a double bed (1.40 x 2.00 m) and the other has a smaller bed (0.80 x 2.00).
2 bicycles are available. It's an easy half hour trip to the citycentre, both by bike or by public transport
Bus- and tramstops are nearby.
'Amsterdam Beach' = Zandvoort can be reached bij train and by bus..

About the neighborhood
Slotermeer, my part of Amsterdam, is multicultural.
You'll see lots of people from Turkey, Morocco and Surinam.
There is a daily foodmarket on Plein '40-'45.
There are 3 supermarkets nearby.
There's a lake (Sloterplas) for walking and swimming, and a public swimmingpool, Sloterparkbad.
I have 2 bicycles that you could use. You could easily take bus 80 which will bring you to Haarlem (Frans Halsmuseum) in half an hour.
You can reach the citycentre by bus 21 and by trams 13 and 7..

Warm welcome from Aagje, whose flat is convenient and confortable for 2 persons (maybe 3). Good connexions with the city transport network to have an easy access to all places to be visited in Amsterdam and surroundings.
Very successful exchange indeed. Ati and her 2 friends took good care of our house and cats. Communicating via Signal was very quick and easy. Ati waited until we arrived to show us round her apartment, which was extremely comfortable and well located. She introduced us to her neighbour Hans just in case we had problems. But we had none : everything was perfect there! There was even a private parking space for us. Thank you Ati and good luck to you and Hetty with your future Intervac exchanges🥰.

I live alone, but very often my friend Hetty joines me.
I'm a retired schoolteacher (6-12 year old children).
Hetty is a coördinator.
We love to explore the surroundings by bike.
