Downtown maisonette on sunny side, nice place for families
Our home is a quiet place in a spirited and charming district of cologne. Central located in the old part of the City. Subway/tram/cablecar/bus are a 5 min. walk away. Surrounded by a lot of different shops, playgrounds, bars and restaurants
We are living on 3rd/4th floor of a renovated old Building. The big flat has on 3rd floor a living room with sofabed, childrens room (2-3 beds), bathroom (shower) and kitchen. On 4th floor you will find bedroom (double) and bathroom with bath.
Our home is well suited for max. 6 persons .

Sobre el vecindario
The Severins district (or Fringsveedel) is known for its numerous cosy pubs, bars, restaurants and cafés where you can spend a good time. The retail trade is still flourishing along Severinstraße and Bonnerstraße and it is fun to stroll, browse and shop along the numerous small shops and businesses. Culturally, this is where things get going: around Clodwigplatz there is the highest density of theatres in all of Cologne: the Theater am Sachsenring, the Theater der Keller, Das freie Werkstatt Theater, the Comedia, the Puppet Theatre in the Blue House, the Theater in the Severinstorburg, etc. five lively metropolitan parishes outdo each other with appealing cultural events, social projects and varied forms of worship. With the ODEON cinema, in the former Trude-Herr-Theater, this district has one of the coolest off-cinemas with an alternative cinema program, jazz concerts and exhibitions take place in the Old Pawn Shop and in the KAT18. There is now an artist's studio with gallery and catering.... but the best cuisine in the whole Südstadt is in HaPTiLu, the small charming café-restaurant opposite our apartment, where you can also have breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We had e very nice experience with the family we made the exchange with. Martin and Detlef and their children are very nice people. Very helpful! Köln is also a nice destination. The appartement is close to the centre of Köln. You can do a lot by foot.
