Exchange dates Duration
October 01, 2021 - October 26, 2021 3 months

Long exchange We are looking for a long term exchange in the distant future. We have been discussing this for a while and we decided to like start preparing. We would like to do that some time arround the end of 2021 and we would like to do at least a 3 months exchange. Everything is very flexible at this point. Our preferences are: At least 2 bedrooms would prefer a car exchange as well Warm climate would be great Sea or a large body of water in the near distance Note: we will have a little kid at that time. What will YOU do in Hungary for 3 months? Exploring Hungary will take you a month we can set you up with a lot of activites. Travel Europe, low cost airlines allow you to fly anywhere in Europe for about 100 EUR return. OR drive to Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia all of them are 2-3 hour trips! Medical treatments, Hungary has great private medical treatments for foreigners. Many many companies offer treatments like dental, rheumatology, etc. Frequent our amazing healing baths. Enjoy the culinary scene of Budapest. Dine in a different amazing award winning restaurant two times a week and you will not finish my list!

Cosy home, modern home in the Heart of the City

The building has a classic environment, it has been built in 1910 and severly damaged in the wars, renovated after WWII. Next to the apartment is a small closed yard, so we don't have a view but there are trees in front of the windows.

Very quite area ( you can literally sleep with the windows open), but only 15 minutes walk from the main attractions. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The best spot for visiting the city. The subway is 2 minutes from the door and the main tram 4-6 is also about 4 minutes. Airport is about 50 min by public transport which is 2 EUR or you can take a cab for about 25 EUR.

At the moment we have a small car (Nissan Micra 2003), that can be an option for exchange, but we plan to buy a new car soon. In general you don't need a car in Budapest, but if you want to take short trips you might.
If you arrive by car, we have a rented garage space in the shopping centre nearby, about 5 minutes walk from the apartment. It is safe and closed for the nigth with a guard.
