We have a small and cozy town house located 3 km from Turku city centre (Åbo means Turku in Swedish, which is another official language in Finland). Our house can accommodate 5 persons. The house has three floors. The top floor has a bedroom with double bed, and a children's room with two beds. The middle floor includes kitchen, dining area, living room and toilet. Third bedroom is located in the basement, as well as the bathroom and the washing machine. We also have a traditional wood-burning sauna in our house. The house has a 400 m² yard with a patio and barbecue with outdoor toys. We can exchange our other car.

We also have toys and games for children indoors, for both girls and boys. A public playground is located just 50 meters from our house, which is very convenient with smaller children, two others are located within 1km range. There are four grocery stores close to our house, closest being 400 metres and farthest 1km away.

Our house is very accessible with public transport; many bus lines drive close to our house. With buses, you can access among others the city centre, airport, train station, beaches, a public outdoor pool and parks and forests.

We live close to Aurajoki river, which is a focal point and landmark in Turku. From the river, you can take vaporetto to Ruissalo national park https://kissmyturku.com/kohdekortit/ruissalo-island, where in addition to beautiful milieu, there is also a beach. In addition, cruises to close by sights and islands leave from the riverside.

There are also nice restaurants and museums in Turku.

Turku has a beautiful archipelago, https://visitparainen.fi/en/the-archipelago-trail/ and it would be a great idea to rent a car to see the archipelago trail, or even by bikes if you feel adventurous. Some long distance bus lines also drive there. We are happy to provide information on these too.

You can also easily access Helsinki, the capital of Finland https://www.visitfinland.com/helsinki/ and https://www.myhelsinki.fi/en. There are both trains and buses leaving almost every hour.

In addition, Turku has a harbour. Taking a cruise ship to Sweden's capital Stockholm is a popular amusement https://www.sales.vikingline.com/ and https://en.tallink.com/en/ports-and-destinations. You can easily attach a holiday in Sweden by coming to Turku, and fly back home from Stockholm, where many flights are available.
