We live in a 3 floor house in city of Vantaa, Finland, which is 23 km from Helsinki downtown. Bus to Helsinki is leaving only 100 m from our home and Helsinki has a lot of parking lots if your prefer driving.
Our House has unique design with 3 floors and it has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen, tower, sauna, jacuzzi and private courtyard of 1.000 sq meters.
House is equipped with modern appliances, like flat screen TV, WiFi Internet access, bicycles and grill.
Helsinki is famous for design and Finland for it's nature.
River is 300 meters and small lake is 2 km away.

About the neighborhood
In Spring in Finland expect warmer temperatures and vibrant blossoms as nature emerges from its wintry slumber. Spring is also one of the most beautiful seasons to witness the Northern Lights and hear the sound of birds chirping. In late-April sun set is around nine o'clock.
Summer in Finland roughly lasts from May to September. The summer is the season of the Midnight Sun and nights are bright.
Summers in Finland are generally warm and temperatures tend to stay around +15C-+25C, but temperatures of +30C are not unheard of. We have airconditioner in our house.
The warm days and bright evenings are ideal for swimming in the freshwater lakes, enjoying the beaches and having late night barbeques by the Kuusijärvi lake.
VANTAA:
The biggest entertainment center in Scandinavia is located in Vantaa. Flamingo has spa, bowling, minigolf etc.
Many of our previous Intervac visitors have taken a cruise from Helsinki to Tallinn. Prices starting from 30 EUR/pp.

Our oldest children (born 1989, 1994) are not traveling with us anymore.
Our son (born 2003) will travel with us.
Markku is working in IT industry and Eija is a family councelor.
We don't smoke and we don't have pets. We are a little bit allergic to cats - so for us it is convinient if cats are away during our stay.
