We have rejoined Intervac after a short absence. We have had just over 20 successful exchanges since 2023.
Nice home on cul-de-sac, just a 2 minute walk to the sandy beaches. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy an unbeatable sunrise while relaxing on the beach. Located on the west end of Galveston Island. Powered luggage lift. 1 bedroom with king, 1 with queen and 1 with queen plus 2 single bunks. 2 full bathrooms. 2 outdoor decks (1 outside primary bedroom and 1 across the entire front of the home). Expandable dining table plus bar seating. Outdoor shower to wash off beach sand. Close to shops, groceries, gas, gifts, tourist attractions, restaurants. Very nice area with friendly neighbors. Easy to find your way around the island (or just hit the beach!). Loads of history to explore. Short drive to the State Park with walking and bird watching trails. Many cruises leave from the Galveston port. Easy 1 hour drive to downtown Houston, TX. Just 45 minutes to Hobby Airport (HOU), or 75 minutes to George Bush International Airport (IAH).

Galveston is a popular destination with a great variety of things to keep busy with, including (see pics):
- Centuries old Mansions and historic homes to tour
- Annual Harvest Moon Regatta
- Carnival rides and restaurants on the water at Pleasure Pier
- Moody Gardens - a complete complex featuring a rain forest, an aquarium, and a 3rd pyramid where the display varies, a water slide center and hotel with several restaurants, and day trips or evening meal cruises in the bay on their paddleboat
- Enjoy discovering historic downtown Galveston with a horse drawn carriage ride, an original rail trolley car ride, or just stroll the streets and shops on the Strand
- NASA Houston Space Center just a 45 minute car ride away
