Welcome to a modern Scandinavian oasis in the heart of Helsinki's vibrant Kalasatama district. This contemporary three-bedroom city apartment has hard wood oak floors, high sealing, art and a large balcony. In our house you will also get access to a sauna. This home provides you effortless vacation surrounded by timeless elegance, very suitable for travelling couples, but also families.
In close proximity to the waterfront, this apartment offers a sense of tranquility amidst the bustling urban landscape. It is located just a 5-minute stroll from the shopping mall and the nearest metro station, taking you to the city center in 7 minutes. This home provides you convenient access to all that Helsinki has to offer.
The apartment is a new and our home, therefore it is equipped with all the latest household amenities (e.g. owen, dishwasher, microwave, blender). It features a large master bedroom with a 180cm bed with a direct access to the bathroom. We also have two smaller bedrooms, from where you have a partial sea view. From the living room you can open the sliding door and relax on the summer days on our large balcony where we grow greenery. The house we live in also has a large beautiful sauna that can be reserved from the joint calendar of any day you like with a little fee. We have a BMW that is negotiable for your use as well.

Sobre el vecindario
Kalasatama (Fish port) is a smart communal and maritime influenced part of the inner city. There are plenty of nature, shops and restaurants in the area.
Nature
10 minutes walking distance from our home is Mustikkamaa (Blueberry island) outdoor forest recreation area with its beaches and free outdoor exercise area. From the beaches of Mustikkamaa you can hear the lion’s roaring as the Korkeasaari Zoo is located on the next island. A short distance away is also the charming Lammassaari (Lamb island) with its pine trees.
You can do island hopping in the archipelago with the ferry operating also via Kalasatama. Parks and other recreational areas, as well as numerous environmental art events bring life to the area.
Teurastamo culture area
Teurastamo is a former slaughterhouse from 1933 next to Kalasatama, bustling with new urban and food culture. During summer, they have jazz and other playing outside. It is 5 minutes walking distance from our apartment.
Sauna
There is a free public sauna, called Sompasauna 7 minutes walking distance from our home by the sea shore.
Shopping center
The shopping and experience center REDI is located 5 minutes from our home. REDI brings experiences to the shopping center: it also includes new and surprising options for free time, e.g. a free-fall simulator, movie theatre, climbing hall and kids park. REDI offers a wide selection of supermarkets, restaurants, consumer goods and specialty stores as well as services.
Public transportation
The area features very versatile public transport: Metro, tram and bus lines takes you almost anywhere you want in Helsinki. We are also open for a car exchange.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans l’appartement d’Helina et Mikko. Nous avons apprécié le confort et le mode vie avec les nombreux espaces partagés. L’appartement est très bien situé pour visiter Helsinki et ses environs. Helina, Mikko et les enfants ont bien pris soin de notre maison. C'est un échange très réussi.

Our family consists of us Elina and Mikko and our two children aged 8 and 4. We enjoy living a vibrant urban lifestyle in our city apartment, that we have carefully designed ourselves. We balance our careers with family time and sports. As hobbies Elina has been doing ashtanga yoga for 20 years and Mikko martial arts for 30 years, music and art is also very close to our hearts and our son plays the trumpet. We have travelled the world together and Elina has been doing Intervac changes with her teacher parents in her own childhood and has great memories of these travels. We wish to give unique experiences also to our children, something that is beyond hotel travels :) Our children enjoy different activities such as swimming and as a family we also appreciate nature and good food.
