Seeking Simultaneous or Non-simultaneous Home Exchange. We live in a residential neighborhood with private single family homes on 1 acre lots in the country. Our home has living area of approximately 1200 sq ft on one level. On the main level: open living room - dining- updated kitchen. The rooms have large windows and lots of sunlight. One large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, the second (smaller) bedroom has 2 single beds, then a guest bathroom with shower is off the central hallway. We do not have a garage, but we do have a wide driveway that fits 3 to 4 vehicles, and a full basement with a home workshop and storage. There are 4 to 5 steps with railings to enter the home (side or front entrances).

Our home is in Northfield, New Hampshire, USA at the mid-point in NH. Access to the Lakes Region of NH is 10 to 30 minutes north, with many options for boat rentals, and recreation on small to larger lakes as well as other dining and cultural activities particularly from the end of May to mid-October. Local shopping is available nearby in Tilton (6 minutes by car). The capitol of NH, Concord, is a 20 minute drive to the south, with many choices for dining from casual, to international, to formal. Concord also offers excellent Arts, Theater, and Music venues. There is a direct bus line from Concord to Boston that runs daily. If you are arriving internationally by plane; Boston Logan International airport and then bus to Concord NH. Or for US travel arrive into MHT airport; Manchester New Hampshire airport, which is 50 minute drive from our home.

If you are interested in a day at the Atlantic Ocean, you can get to beaches on the coasts of New Hampshire or Maine in about an hour and a half. Another possibility is travel north of our home in 40 to 60 minutes to the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF) with hiking trails, and mountains. In the surrounding areas you will find local farm stands, country villages, and train rides. Peak foliage at our home around early October and foliage colors starting in the highest elevations begins in late September through mid October at lower elevations.

We are looking for either simultaneous or non-simultaneous home exchanges lasting 1 to 3 weeks. It is important for us to find our house neat and tidy when we get back. There may be plants that need some care while you visit and we will specify that in the final agreement. We are open to discussing use of our car during your stay.
