Comfortable apartment near historical center of Basel
Our comfortable high standard apartment built in 2020 is located just outside the historical center of Basel. Entering the historical center through the city gate (Spalentor-see photo) you can find all of the sights, cultural attractions and shopping within walking distance. Parks and the zoo are also within walking distance.
The soundproof third-floor apartment reached by lift offers very comfortable accommodation in a large living-dining room with open space kitchen with high-standard appliances. The apartment is very bright due to all of the large windows - mostly floor to ceiling. The bedroom facing the quiet garden has a kingsize boxspring bed. The sunny study facing south has sofa and TV. Two full baths, one with shower and one with bathtub.
Basel has excellent public transport. Using public transport you can reach the apartment from Basel Euro Airport in 21 minutes. The SBB train station is 9 minutes away. Longterm street parking is available for a fee as is the Parcandi Parking garage at Birmannsgasse 14A (2 mins on foot).

Our residential neighborhood has mostly 4-5 storey apartment buildings with many longterm residents and a number of university students. The University of Basel is five minutes away on foot. Two parks, the zoo and the university botanical gardens are nearby. Food shopping, cafes and restaurants throughout the neighbourhood.
Both Germany and France are only 3.5 kms away at the so-called Dreiländereck. Great bicycle route. Our home is a great base to explore three countries.

Precioso piso muy bien situado, céntrico y muy luminoso para sentirse como en tu propia casa. El piso dispone de todas las comodidades y los dueños nos han acogido muy bien, adaptándose a nuestras necesidades. Muy buena comunicación antes del intercambio. Nos ha encantado Suiza y hemos estado muy bien en su casa.
