Berkeley, USA

I live in a peaceful community that is quite vibrant and near to many shops, restuarants, farmer's markets and public transportation. My house is a gorgeous, light-filled Berkeley craftsman located in South Berkeley, across from a beautiful little park, on a quaint, quiet street. Berkeley is a university town with beautiful hiking, views and access to a marina for sailing. Because of this, there are many many great places to eat, go out and see art within Berkeley. Restuarants, farmers markets, shops, and all kinds of resources. We are also part of the San Francisco Bay Area, so getting into San Francisco or Oakland is an easy bus, bike (you can use mine) or BART-ride away, and my house is close to stops for both forms of public transit. Napa and Sonoma are only an hour away for wine-tasting.
The BART line is a 10 min walk (to get to San Francisco) and the bus is a 2 min walk (to get to Oakland.) You would have the use of my bike, and the town is very bike-able to get to amenities- and very fun/challenging if you would like to bike up into the hills! There is a small park across the street that people like to relax and walk their dogs in, and the streets are tree-lined. I also have a car that we could discuss using.
