House in Castricum, Netherlands
Welcome to our house!
We are Jos and Bea and our son Pieter, daughter Julia and our cat Spookie. We live in the village of Castricum in the coastal area of the Netherlands.
Our house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood nearby the dunes and a 10 minutes walk from the train station. Our house is cosy and suitable for a family of 4 of 5 persons. Downstairs there's a hall, toilet, living room (with piano) that can be separated by antique doors, kitchen and stairs to the first floor with bathroom (toilet, shower and bath) and the two children's rooms. The parent's sleeping room is on the second floor. Our house is simple and cosy and has a garden with sun in late morning and afternoon. If you want, you can use our bikes for a trip to the beach.
Beach, dunes and bulb fields are nearby and the cities of Alkmaar, Zaandam (open air museum Zaanse Schans) and Amsterdam are also worth a visit.

Nuestro vecindario
The village of Castricum is a friendly village in the North-West of the Netherlands, with a city centre with shops, restaurants, cinema and a swimming pool. Nature (dunes, beach) is just around the corner and when you want to visit Amsterdam or Zaandam (Zaanse Schans): there are trains every 15 minutes. Also worth doing is rent a kanoo in Uitgeest.Enough to do in our province, you will enjoy your stay here.
