Clevedon, Gran Bretaña

Comfortable Victorian garden flat situated in the quiet charming seaside town of Clevedon, in the South West of England, whose elegance and appeal has plenty to offer all ages. Situated within easy walking distance to the pebbled seafront, backed by largely unspoilt Victorian architecture and a lovely Victorian Pier Grade I listed pier, which dates from 1869 which is recognised as one of the finest in the country voted 'Pier of the Year 2013'. Clevedon is a pretty small town with a Victorian bandstand and ornamental gardens on the seafront, pebbled beaches and rocky low cliffs with lovely walks, cafes and restaurants all within easy walking distance. It also has a historic cinema which has been run continuously since 1912, Curzon Community Cinema. The Waverley paddle steamer and her sister ship the Balmoral pleasure cruiser are frequent callers at the pier during the summer months for cruises down the Somerset and Devon coast and to Wales. Clevedon’s coastal walks offer stunning views of the coastline and Welsh Mountains which have inspired many great writers including Tennyson, Thackeray and Coleridge. At the Salthouse Fields on the seafront there are children's entertainments and refreshments, plus bandstand concerts in the summer. Nearby are two splendid National Trust properties, a 14th Century Manor House in Clevedon (Clevedon Court) and a Gothic Mansion (Tyntesfield) and Clevedon Craft Centre offers unique gifts.

There is easy access from Clevedon to Bristol, Bath and Wales. Bristol is 13 miles away. Bristol is a large city in the South West of England, with museums, theatres, a historic dock and zoo. Bath is about 14 miles away, and is a beautiful Georgian city with Roman remains. Other nice places to visit nearby include Wales, Wells, Cheddar, Stonehenge and Glastonbury. London is accessed within 2 hours and Wales within 30 minutes. There is also easy access to Devon (1 hour) and Cornwall (2 hours).

My flat comprises of two double bedrooms, one small room with an Ikea day bed and large sunny day room/bedroom with French doors to the garden and a very comfortable easy to use double sofa bed. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge. My flat sleeps up to 6 people.

I'm particularly interested in visiting small islands. I'm open to offers for long weekend exchanges in the UK or to somewhere sunny and warm with easy flights from Bristol and short exchanges in the UK or Europe at any time. Any offers considered.
